Shipping Days

All orders are shipped within 24 business hours of your order, depending on your location and the fastest available service. We do not use slow shipping methods to save money, only use FedEx to ship, and our products will arrive at your doorstep quickly.

Typical delivery time for US states (except other US overseas territories) is within 7 to 14 business days, however, express delivery is provided via FedEx. You may receive your item earlier.

All orders will come with a tracking number so you can track it all the way! Packages may encounter delays that are beyond our control, such as customs or postal delays.

Shipping Costs

All products on www.northcaptain.com are free to ship within the United States, and there is no additional shipping cost if you are a US customer. For customers outside the United States, you cannot place an order on our website at this time because the website will automatically reject it.

Q1: Can your boat seats really withstand sun and rain out at sea?

A: We totally understand your concern. Our boat seats are made with marine-grade materials, including UV-resistant, saltwater-corrosion-resistant high-strength PVC and aluminum frames. They’re built specifically for harsh marine environments. Not only are they waterproof and sun-proof, but also extremely durable. We've tested them ourselves, and many long-time customers have told us their seats are still going strong after years of use.

Q2: Will it be uncomfortable to sit for a whole day?

A: Comfort is something we take seriously. Our seats are ergonomically designed, filled with high-density foam that’s firm yet supportive. Many of our customers are fishing enthusiasts who spend full days on the water — they’ve told us the seats stay comfortable all day long. But if it doesn’t feel right for you after trying it, just reach out — we’re happy to help with a return or exchange.

Q3: Is the installation complicated? I'm not very handy.

A: We hear you! That’s why we designed the seat to be as user-friendly as possible. Most customers are able to install it within 5–15 minutes by following our instructions or video guide. No special tools or modifications to your boat are needed. If you run into any trouble, just contact us — we’ll walk you through it step-by-step.

Q4: Will it fit my small boat? What about the weight limit?

A: We offer different seat models to fit small, medium, and large boats. All of them are built to support up to 150kg (about 330 lbs) without any issues. If you’re unsure whether it’ll fit your boat, just send us a photo or your boat’s dimensions — we’ll be happy to recommend the best option for you.
